Ollie congratulates all of its brewery partners, who received five awards at this year’s Great American Beer Festival Awards ceremony, which took place this past Saturday, October 12, in Denver, CO.

One of the world’s most prestigious and esteemed craft beer competitions, the Great American Beer Festival has celebrated the best in beer every year since the Brewers Association started handing out awards thirty-eight years ago. Over seven days, 285 judges tried 8,836 beer entries from 1,869 breweries and cideries across 102 beer and cider categories. For the first time ever, this included 230 ciders from 65 different cider makers, “which is amazing for the first year doing this,” remarked Brewers Association Competition Director Chris Williams. “It’s hard to overlook how utterly amazing this event is and the community it fosters. When at GABF, you’re part of the community and the family, and you’re always a part of the fun.” In total, the Brewers Association doled out 326 awards.
This year, Ollie partners won one gold, one silver, and three bronze medals across five different categories, including a gold in one of the top ten most-entered beer styles of the competition—Fruited American Sour Ale (165 entries).
